I had an interesting discussion with a fare the other day: which one of us was the more fortunate? Was it him, jetting off for a month in New Zealand, or was it me, habitual an hour and a half later to the comfort of my own home, lacking having to persist the busiest airport in the world AND 24 hours in the sky in a cramped Aluminium tube?
You can see, I prospect, that that added up to some interesting althought processes. Yes, NZ certainly appeals so does the idea of a feast: airport sanctuary and the long getaway certainly dont although. One of the really up-sides of driving a cab, particularly one specialising in Airport Transfers, is that you do get the world in your cab. Ive only been working for a few months, but Ive already had folk from the USA, Norway, Germany, fiasco and Portugal in my car all with a tale to tell, and the popular forceful it too. Ive full people to the Airport to latch getaways to many far-flung destinations: Australia, Ukraine, Malta and Dubai for example. You suffer so many different folk, different experiences, different ideals such a lot to lecture about.
Taxi driving is a great job if you affection people (most fares want to lecture), and it is likely to make a living out of it. I would urge someone judgment about this as a career choice to find out what the process is locally for receiving approved and go for it.
Open your ears and your psyche and you certainly will get to move the world through other peoples experiences!
